Still the same as in previous years, PMCO 2020 will be divided into two splits namely spring and fall with a total prize pool of 1 million USD. This tournament will direct the top teams to compete on the 2020 World Championship stage.

Starting on January 3 yesterday, the official website of PUBG Mobile has opened registration for teams who want to participate in PMCO Spring Split 2020. After closing on January 21st, the qualification round will take place from January 23 to February 2, 2020.

Teams the survivors will then compete in the regional group stage until the semifinals throughout February. This time, it did not stop only at the regional finals, the best teams in the spring split phase still had one competition namely the World League stage which would give them a spot to the PUBG Mobile World Championship 2020.

Even though in terms of competition formats there were additions, the teams still will compete using the third-person perspective (TPP) mode in four PUBGM maps namely Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, and Vikendi.

Another new thing in PMCO 2020 compared to last year was the addition of participating regions. The following regions will participate in PMCO Spring Split 2020: LATAM, Europe, Middle East and North Africa MENA, South Asia, Wildcard, SEA Wildcard, North America, Brazil, Turkey, CIS, Germany, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, India, and Pakistan .

As the PMCO Spring Split progresses, other regional competitions such as the Pro League SEA, Americas and South Asia will also begin, bringing teams from semi-pro to pro levels to compete at higher levels.

For Indonesian teams who want to compete in PMCO Spring Split 2020 have two opportunities namely the SEA League and through the SEA Wildcard.
